A Safari Adventure for Kids Like No Other

Imagine a place where every day is an adventure, where lions roar in the distance, elephants roam freely, and the landscape itself becomes a giant classroom. That place is Tanzania, and at Africa Eco Expeditions, we make it a world of discovery and fun for kids.

Our camps are designed to spark curiosity and keep young explorers fully engaged. With friendly guides and child minders on hand, children aged 9–14 can dive into hands-on activities that combine adventure, wildlife, and traditional culture.

Adventures Await:

  • Craft and Culture: Create beautiful Maasai bracelets and necklaces.

  • Junior Rangers:  Make bows and arrows and try spear launching (Mara only).

  • Bush Skills:  Learn to start a fire without matches.

  • Nature Detectives:  Go on exploratory walks to identify animal tracks, bones, plants, and leaves.

This setup allows your family to enjoy the magic of the bush together while having the space to relax, unwind, and create unforgettable memories.

3. Walking Safari

Here, ancient rocky kopjes rise from the earth, winding drainage lines cut through the landscape, acacia woodlands glow in golden light, and vast open plains stretch endlessly toward the horizon. It’s a wilderness where silence prevails—and where most guests can walk for days without encountering another vehicle. This is true exploration. This is true privacy.

Our walking safaris are tailored to each group and each season, crafted to bring you as close as possible to the heartbeat of the Serengeti. Because the migration is ever-moving, we plan our routes and walking camps shortly before your arrival, ensuring we’re positioned exactly where the herds are gathering.

To witness the Great Migration on foot—feeling the distant rumble, seeing the dust rise, hearing the grunts ripple through the air—is nothing short of breathtaking. And where the herds roam, a rich array of other wildlife follows, creating moments that stay with you long after you’ve left the valley.

4. Disability Friendly Safaris

At Africa Eco Expeditions, we believe that travel is for everyone. That’s why we are committed to responsible and inclusive tourism. Our safaris in Tanzania—and all our cultural and historical tours—are designed to be accessible to travelers with disabilities.

When we say we are all-inclusive, we truly mean it: every guest, regardless of ability, can experience the magic of Tanzania safely, comfortably, and without compromise.

5. Celebrate Your Wedding in the Heart of the Wild

Looking for a small, intimate, and truly unique place to say “I do”? We offer some of the most breathtaking private safari locations for unforgettable weddings. Far from the crowded, cookie-cutter venues of the coast or Caribbean, our camps provide a one-of-a-kind setting where nature becomes your backdrop and every moment feels magical.

At Africa Eco Expeditions, the entire camp team—often joined by delighted fellow guests—comes together to make your celebration extraordinary. You may even spot few curious wild party crashers passing by to witness your special moment.

Whether you’re planning an elopement for two or wish to book the entire camp for a private celebration, we’re here to create a wedding day as unforgettable as your love story.
